Cherishing The Earliest Moments Of Life
At Infinity & Beyond Photography, newborn photography is more than what I do, its what I love. I believe that those first days are fleeting, and my purpose is to preserve them with care, artistry, and emotion.
Each session is designed to feel calm, heartfelt, and deeply personal. From the soft curl of tiny fingers to the peaceful stillness of new life, every detail is captured with intention and grace. My approach blends fine art styling with authentic connection, creating imagery that feels both timeless and tender.
My promise is to create heirloom photographs that don't just show how your baby looked, they remind you exactly how that moment felt.
The Newborn Experience
Every newborn session is designed to be an unhurried, peaceful experience and a celebration of new life and connection. Sessions take place when your baby is between 10 and 21 days old, with my personal preference leaning toward that beautiful three-week mark, when babies are often still curly and sleepy but have begun to show a touch of personality.
Each session unfolds entirely at baby’s pace. As much as I would love to guide every moment, your little one truly sets the rhythm, whether that means extra time for cuddles, feeding, or simply letting them stretch and settle. Because of this, newborn sessions can run anywhere between two to four hours, ensuring there’s never a rush and every detail is handled with care.
The studio is kept comfortably warm to help your baby relax throughout the session. You’re welcome to bring along a snack, a book, or your phone to quietly unwind. Should the warmth feel a bit heavy, a perfectly chilled bottle of water will be waiting for you to enjoy.
Every session is fully customized to your family. I curate from a wide selection of timeless tones, textures & props, though I’m always open to your inspirations or meaningful details you’d love to include. While I’ll gently guide posing and styling, flexibility is key. Some babies prefer to be swaddled or awake, while others easily drift into deep sleep. For that reason, I ask that you arrive with an open heart and trust in the creative process.
All newborn sessions include family portraits in addition to baby’s individual imagery. If an older sibling will be joining, we’ll begin with the family portraits first ensuring we capture their connection before big brothers or sisters grow restless. Afterward, siblings are kindly excused so we can focus on the quieter newborn portion of the experience. You are invited to bring along and extra support person who can accompany older siblings home after their time in the session, creating a peaceful space for the remainder of the experience. What results is a collection of soft, soulful imagery that reflects the beauty, purity, and grace of your newest chapter and as always captured with patience, artistry, and heart.
The Details
Your Session Essentials
Please bring the following items for your baby and your family:
• A soother or pacifier, even if baby does not usually take one. This small detail can make a meaningful difference in how smoothly your session flows.
• Enough milk for up to four full feeds if baby is bottle-fed.
• One soft and cozy blanket.
• Two smaller throw or spit-up blankets.
• Diapers and wipes.
• Any special items you wish to include in your session. (please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare accordingly)
• Snacks and/or toys to keep older siblings occupied while I get baby ready for family portraits.
• A change of clothes for parents or siblings, in case of any accidental spills or baby messes that may happen during family poses.
Your Session Wardrobe
Your newborn portraits are created to feel timeless, elegant, and deeply connected. These are the kind of images that remain classic and meaningful as the years pass.
For family portraits, I recommend soft and neutral tones that photograph beautifully in any setting. Shades such as ivory, beige, taupe, soft grey, or muted pastels create a refined and cohesive look. Avoid bright colors, bold patterns, or large logos, as simplicity allows the emotion and connection within your family to shine.
For mothers, a full client wardrobe is available upon request, featuring a carefully curated selection of gowns in a variety of styles and sizes. Each piece has been chosen for its flattering fit and graceful movement, ensuring you feel as beautiful as the images we create together. Fathers photograph best in plain, fitted shirts in neutral tones. For siblings, keep clothing soft and comfortable, choosing solid colors that complement the overall palette.
Everything needed for your baby is provided in the studio. Each setup is styled with care, using hand-selected wraps, textures, and props that enhance a verity of colors and highlight your baby’s natural beauty. You do not need to bring any clothing for your newborn unless there is a sentimental piece you wish to include.
If you would like help coordinating outfits or selecting tones that will photograph beautifully together, I am always happy to guide you.

Inside Your Proofing Gallery
After your newborn session, I begin the careful process of preparing your proofing gallery. This gallery is a curated collection of non-edited or softly edited preview images that offers you an early look at the beautiful moments we created with your little one. Each image is presented in a clean and easy-to-navigate format so you can view them at your own pace and select the ones that speak to your heart.
To help you imagine how your final artwork will look, one to three images in your proofing gallery will be fully edited. These completed samples show you the level of refinement, and detail you can expect in your final gallery. They serve as a visual guide, allowing you to feel confident and excited about the images you choose.
Your proofing gallery will arrive within seven days of your session, along with simple instructions on how to make your selections. You will also receive a sneak peek within 48 hours so you can enjoy a first glimpse of your baby’s portraits while the full gallery is being prepared.
