Isn’t it just amazing how fast babies grow in the first year? Offered at 3,6,9 or 12 months milestone sessions are perfect if you missed the newborn phase or simply want to capture your little one as they start to move around more and show off their developing personality. Wouldn’t it be amazing to capture some of their first real smiles, first time sitting up or rolling over? Document their first time crawling or first steps? Milestone sessions give you the ability to watch you little one grow and change all while providing you with memories that will last a lifetime.
Your Cake Smash Session
So your little one is not so little anymore! A cake smash is a fun & unique way to celebrate your child's biggest milestone yet. It’s the time to document your baby’s budding personality and capture this fleeting milestone. I will be sure to capture your little one having lots of fun as they explore a cake made just for them!
You’ll enjoy a custom set created just for your little one in the studio. My cake smash sessions are one of my most requested sessions and families love planning a creative session with decor & a cake to match your set. The opportunities for creativity are endless! I’m a maker, a do-er, a creator. After we talk about inspiration for your session, I will create the perfect custom set up and have my baker whip up the most delicious cake for your session!
What is included in a milestone or cake smash session?
• In person or on the phone consultation. This is where I will walk you through every step of your upcoming session. I would absolutely love to hear what YOU want to take away from this experience. What is the most important moments you wish to capture and what do you expect to gain from this experience aside from beautiful, timeless memories? I will make this process as easy and as relaxing as possible. It's my job to make sure you have the most positive experience and in turn get the most beautiful final results.
• Shooting Time. Weather your booking a cake smash or milestone, your session will last about one hour. Just enough time to capture everything we need but not too much time so as to overwhelm your little one.
• Milestone sessions will include up to 4 set ups. I have a large selection of colored backdrops for you to choose from as well as headbands, hats and outfits! Feel free to pick out some props from my collection to further customize your session.
• Cake smash sessions involve 3 separate portions. The first portion is the "portrait" portion where we take some adorable images of your little guy or gal on the set with some props and cute outfits. The second portion is the "cake smash" portion where the fun begins! I will bring out your custom cake and we will simply sit back, watch and laugh as we watch your little one dig right in and make a mess. Last we have the "bubble bath" portion where perhaps kid's make the biggest mess and have the most fun. Watch as your adorable toddler splishes and splashes while I capture every moment.
